The initial pictures of Motorola’s upcoming flagship Edge 70 Ultra have been shared by a user on X (@Sudhanshu1414). In these images, the phone’s design looks very similar to the previous model, confirming that the company will continue with its current ODM-based design this time as well. Along with this, some major specifications of the device have also surfaced, including Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor.
Motorola Edge 70 Ultra Specifications Leaked?
If we talk about the leaked features of the Moto Edge 70 Ultra, the phone’s design has been leaked along with some display details. It is revealed that the phone will feature a pOLED 144Hz screen. As for performance, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor will be seen. So let’s take a look at all the leaked specifications one by one:
Motorola Edge 70 Ultra Design Leaked?
Looking at the leaked design, the phone has curved edges, a metal frame, and a triple rear camera setup. The camera module follows the same flat and minimal design approach seen in previous Ultra models. Apart from this, Motorola’s phone appears to have an IP68 rating and also includes a USB 3.1 Type-C port. Overall, the design is clean and simple, which is the identity of Motorola phones.
6.7-inch Display, 144Hz pOLED Panel
The leaked image also confirms that the front will have curved edges and extremely thin bezels. Several reports also claim that Motorola will use a 6.7-inch 1.5K pOLED display for the new Ultra model. The 144Hz refresh rate panel has already been used by the company in its premium series, and the same setup is expected this time as well.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Processor
The biggest highlight of the new Ultra model is its processor. According to the leaks, the phone will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, which is Qualcomm’s upcoming top-tier platform. Camera: Triple Lens with Periscope
Motorola always focuses on the camera in its Ultra models. The Edge 70 Ultra also appears to have a triple-camera setup. Talking about the rear camera, it may include an ultrawide lens, periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP selfie camera on the front. Reports also suggest the presence of Optical FPS (likely OIS) support, advanced night mode, and AI imaging.
Battery and Connectivity
Although battery details haven’t leaked yet, being an Ultra model, it is expected to feature a 4500–5000mAh battery and superfast charging. Besides this, the USB 3.1 port will improve file transfer speed and data handling.
