Oppo has officially confirmed the processor for its upcoming next-generation Find X-series smartphone, the Oppo Find X9s, signaling a significant update to the brand’s flagship lineup. This confirmation was made during a MediaTek event in India, where Oppo emphasized the device’s core hardware platform and market plans. This announcement confirms the chipset and India as a key launch market, while many other specifications still rely on leaks and early reports.
Furthermore, the Oppo Find X9s is expected to strengthen Oppo’s presence in the premium smartphone segment in 2026. Although the complete specifications of the Oppo Find X9s are yet to be revealed, the official confirmation already provides insights into the device’s performance focus and launch timeline.
Oppo Find X9s Officially Confirmed With Dimensity 9500s
Oppo India has confirmed that the Oppo Find X9s will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset. This announcement was revealed at a MediaTek event in India, clarifying the processor choice and confirming the device’s launch in the Indian market. Furthermore, Oppo stated that the Find X9s is launching soon, with its market availability expected in Q2 2026.
Meanwhile, Oppo has not yet disclosed the exact launch date or pricing details. However, reports suggest that India will be among the first markets to receive the device. Besides India, the Oppo Find X9s is also expected to launch in Singapore, Vietnam, and Malaysia. However, Oppo has not yet officially confirmed the rollout schedule for these regions.
The MediaTek Dimensity 9500s is built using an advanced 3nm fabrication process. Therefore, this chipset is designed to deliver high-end performance along with improved power efficiency. It features an all-big-core CPU architecture, led by the Cortex-X925 ultra-core, supported by premium performance cores. As a result, the Oppo Find X9s is poised to handle demanding tasks and sustained workloads.
Additionally, the chipset integrates the Immortalis-G925 GPU, which supports ray tracing for advanced graphics rendering. Meanwhile, MediaTek has also included a powerful NPU in the Dimensity 9500s, enabling on-device generative AI tasks and enhanced AI-driven features. In terms of connectivity, the platform supports Release-17 5G, improved Wi-Fi performance, advanced imaging capabilities, and 8K Dolby Vision video recording.
According to leaks, the Oppo Find X9s may feature a 6.32-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, rumors suggest that the device will run on Android 16 with ColorOS 16. The battery capacity is also rumored to be 7,000mAh, although Oppo has not confirmed this detail. Camera leaks indicate a triple rear camera setup with a 200MP main camera, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, along with a 50MP front camera. However, all these specifications are yet to be verified.
