Xiaomi is preparing to launch the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G in India. Before the official launch, the Indian variant with model number 2509BRP2DI has surfaced online. The listing confirms that the upcoming tablet will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. The leak also reveals that the Redmi Pad 2 Pro will run on the latest Android version. The Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G has appeared on the Geekbench database, where it scored 1237 points in the single-core test and 3276 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench 6.5. The benchmark listing reveals an octa-core CPU setup with one prime core clocked at 2.71GHz, three performance cores at 2.40GHz, and four efficiency cores at 1.80GHz, which matches the core configuration of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC.
The Geekbench entry also confirms that the tablet will run on Android 15 and will have approximately 8GB of RAM. The motherboard is listed as “Volcano,” which suggests the use of a Qualcomm platform. Looking at the tablet’s graphics performance, it is expected to include an Adreno 810 GPU.
